The current “story” of the perishable supply chain is a complex one. Numerous and evolving industry influencers are driving change in the temperature controlled transportation industry. How companies adapt to these incremental changes will affect their competitive advantages/disadvantages and overall industry success. Who is writing your companies perishable supply chain story? Do they know where the story will go? Are they confident in the ending? During this presentation, we’ll discuss the importance of a logistics strategy for perishable supply chains and talk about how you can write your own supply chain success story.

Steve Gabrick, Regional Sales Manager for Robinson Fresh, a division of C.H. Robinson, has been in the transportation industry for 15 years. During his time with C.H. Robinson, Steve has held various roles in the temperature controlled transportation area of the business. Steve has led his team and enabled customer success by shifting the established mind-set of perishable consolidation from “that’s the way it’s always been done” to a new, more efficient method of creating planned environments for the perishable supply chain. In his current role as Regional Sales Manager for C.H. Robinson’s central division, Steve is responsible for leading the sales strategy of the Robinson Fresh business.
