This is the first module in the CPIM series, and is the recommended first class for anyone interested in pursuing the CPIM certification.  It covers a wide range of topics that segue into the other modules, and lays the foundation for the APICS Operations Management Body of Knowledge (OMBOK).  Upon completing this course, you will be prepared to take the CPIM BSCM Exam.

Basics of Supply Chain Management includes over 270 manufacturing terms and basic concepts in managing the complete flow of materials in a supply chain from suppliers to customers. Supply chain concepts are introduced and basic terminology emphasized, as are relationships among activities within the supply chain.

This course will be held one night per week, for 3 hours each session, for a total of 10 weeks (schedule subject to change, dependent upon the instructor for the class).
